Sarasota World Affairs Council

The Council sponsors several major speaker’s forums per year, from large public forums featuring international and national leaders to informal briefings and debates on current foreign policy issues. In addition to lectures for the its membership and the local community, the Council offers special programs for young professional and corporate sponsors as well as area high school and university students. Events sponsored by the Council include: discussions with ambassadors, government officials, journalists, and experts in the field of foreign affairs.
