Ambassador Christopher Hill on American Diplomacy on the Frontlines, March 17

Sarasota World Affairs Council, Bookstore1Sarasota, New College of Florida and the Gulf Coast Community Foundation present U.S. Ambassador Cristopher Hill, Dean of International Studies at the University of Denver. A career diplomat, he has been nominated by Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama to serve as ambassador to Iraq, the Republic of Korea, Poland, and the Republic of Macedonia and as Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Hill has received many awards, including the Secretary of State’s Distinguished Service Award and the Robert S. Frasure Award for Peace Negotiations.
